Job Description

The Activities Coordinator role at Aria Healthcare's Cranmer Court nursing and residential care home in Warlingham, Surrey, offers an excellent opportunity for a passionate and fast-learning individual looking to grow in the hospitality industry. This permanent, 37.5-hour per week position with alternate weekends provides a competitive hourly rate of £12.40 and a range of employee benefits.

Main duties of the job

As the Activities Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and facilitating engaging activities and events for the residents of Cranmer Court. This includes creating a diverse activity program, encouraging resident participation, and ensuring the activities meet the needs and interests of the community. You will work closely with the care team to understand the residents' preferences and tailor the activities accordingly. The role also involves managing the activity budget, maintaining records, and supporting the overall wellbeing and quality of life for the residents.

Qualifications
  • Applicants should have a passion for working with the elderly, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a proven ability to plan and deliver engaging activities. Experience in a similar role or in the hospitality industry would be an advantage, but a willingness to learn and grow is the key requirement.
