Academic Mentor - Brent - September 2026 
Are you a high-achieving graduate looking to become an Academic Mentor in Brent from September 2026? This ambitious North West London school is looking for a confident core subject graduate who can support pupils academically while gaining valuable school-based experience before teacher training.
Academic Mentor Benefits- £90-100 per day PAYE, paid weekly
- Full-time, term-time only Academic Mentor role

- Work closely with experienced teachers and senior leaders
- Deliver 1:1 and small-group academic intervention
- Ideal Academic Mentor role for an aspiring teacher looking to learn on the job
- Based in Brent, with strong transport links across North West London
- Support pupils across KS2, KS3 or KS4 depending on your subject strength
- Focus on raising attainment in English, Maths, Science or Humanities
- Work with pupils who need additional academic stretch, confidence and structure
- Some SEND support may be involved, but this is primarily an academic intervention role
- 2:1 or above in a core subject from a strong university
- Strong GCSEs and A-Levels, especially in English, Maths or Science
- Clear ambition to become a teacher or work in education
- Confident explaining ideas clearly and adapting support to different pupils
- Professional, reliable and able to commit for the full academic year
