Catering Assistant Cafe Aroma Working Days

Monday to Friday.

Shift Cycle

3 Week Cycle - 07:00 - 15:00, 07:30 - 15:30, 08:30 - 16:30.

Job Purpose

To ensure the organization provides patients, staff, and visitors with a high quality, person centred and safe catering service. Assisting with the preparation of food and contributing to the operation and cleanliness of kitchens, dining rooms, and all associated equipment while supporting the production, portioning, distribution, and service of meals and snacks.

Requirements

This post requires the holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/record. If the holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (child and/or adult), an application must be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post.

Due to legislative changes from 1 April 2025, this role may require a different level of criminal records check. If the role is assessed as a regulated role, the appointment will be subject to joining the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme. Any changes will be confirmed by either the Hiring Manager or the Recruitment Team. For more details on these changes see Disclosure Scotland Changes.
