MCS Group is delighted to announce multiple new opportunities with a valued client in the Fintech space in Dublin as they seek to add experienced senior software engineers to their team. They are looking for strong expertise in backend C#/.NET development and those with a thirst to utilise AI such as Claude in their day to day work.

(Hybrid 3 days in office - Dublin)

• Design, build and maintain robust, scalable backend services using C#/.NET
• Work with PostgreSQL to manage large, complex datasets efficiently
• Integrate with third-party systems and internal services via APIs, messaging queues and data pipelines
• Ensure code quality through test automation, CI pipelines, and peer reviews
• Develop and support systems deployed on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Build and maintain infrastructure with Docker and Kubernetes
• Contribute to event-driven architectures using tools like Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Collaborate with product, frontend, and data teams to deliver well-integrated solutions
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise system performance in production environments
• Take part in architectural discussions and help shape technical direction

• Strong experience with C#/.NET and PostgreSQL
• Proven work with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP)
• Excellent understanding of system integrations and distributed data
• Solid grasp of testing strategies, from unit to integration
• Experience messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Hands on experience with Containerisation e.g. Docker, Kubernetes
• Familiarity with AI tools such as Claude is an advantage
• Full right to work in Ireland (Stamp 4/EU Citizenship)
