MCS Group is delighted to announce multiple new opportunities with a valued client in the Fintech space in Dublin as they seek to add experienced senior software engineers to their team. They are looking for strong expertise in backend C#/.NET development and those with a thirst to utilise AI such as Claude in their day to day work.

(Hybrid 3 days in office - Dublin)
The Role:- Design, build and maintain robust, scalable backend services using C#/.NET
- Work with PostgreSQL to manage large, complex datasets efficiently
- Integrate with third-party systems and internal services via APIs, messaging queues and data pipelines
- Ensure code quality through test automation, CI pipelines, and peer reviews
- Develop and support systems deployed on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Build and maintain infrastructure with Docker and Kubernetes
- Contribute to event-driven architectures using tools like Kafka or RabbitMQ
- Collaborate with product, frontend, and data teams to deliver well-integrated solutions
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise system performance in production environments
- Take part in architectural discussions and help shape technical direction
- Strong experience with C#/.NET and PostgreSQL
- Proven work with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP)
- Excellent understanding of system integrations and distributed data
- Solid grasp of testing strategies, from unit to integration
- Experience messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
- Hands on experience with Containerisation e.g. Docker, Kubernetes
- Familiarity with AI tools such as Claude is an advantage
- Full right to work in Ireland (Stamp 4/EU Citizenship)
