Youth Practitioner (Entry Level)

- Independent skills development: support children in developing skills such as cooking, cleaning and personal care to foster their independence
- Engaging activities: organise and participate in activities such as time in the garden, swimming, creating art or community trips to parks, the beach or shopping
- Supportive environment: help create a positive and safe environment where children can grow and develop, making the home welcoming and non clinical for both children and staff
- Team collaboration: work closely with other team members, families and external agencies to provide the best care for the children, including developing care plans and thinking of creative ways to help children flourish
- House management: assist with the day to day running of the home, including cooking meals, cleaning and administering medication
- Comprehensive training: extensive induction and training programme, including a Level 4 Certificate in Therapeutic Care where required
- Team environment: diverse team with various backgrounds, united by a passion for helping children, working together to leverage each other's strengths

We offer a range of positions, including full time permanent contracts and zero hour posts. Shifts will include weekends and bank holidays, with rota flexibility discussed on an individual basis. Additional allowances are payable for sleep in duties and bank holiday work.
Requirements:• Significant travel required, and you must have a vehicle (or suitable transport) available for use as needed.
• The role involves working with children and/or vulnerable adults, and you will have access to significant information about them.
