Youth Football Coach - Technical & Tactical Development

Football is one of our five performance sports at the College alongside cricket, hockey, netball and tennis. As part of our desire to support the pupils' long-term progression by maximising opportunities for their development in technical and tactical understanding, we are offering several additional small group sessions from September 2026.

These sessions will take place at the following times each week, with each session split into two shorter 35-minute sessions:

Monday 7:00am to 8.10am

Monday 6:00pm to 7:10pm

Wednesday 7:00am to 8.10am

We require a football coach withMinimum of a UEFA B (or equivalent) coaching qualificationto support players who have the aspiration to play 1 st or 2 nd XI (U18) football, in their senior years at the College. A number of these players also have the longer-term goal of moving into performance programmes in either further education or within the professional game after they leave the College.

The role will involve being available at the stated times to deliver sessions that are focussed on technical development, with opportunities to also improve tactical awareness. They will involve small groups of approximately eight to ten players, with sessions providing opportunities for pupils from all year groups (Year 9 to Year 13). Sessions will run throughout the school year, with an annual target of delivering sessions in 30 weeks during term-time.
