Yield Development Manager

Overview

Yield Development Manager (16314). You'll lead the day to day delivery of our yield system development roadmap, collaborating with stakeholders across commercial, trading and technology teams to design, refine and deliver improvements that enhance pricing accuracy, optimise margins, and support our broader revenue goals.

You'll manage the sprint process, ensuring development work is prioritised, clearly defined, and delivered to a high standard. This includes leading sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives, while coordinating with business analysts and IT teams to translate complex requirements into effective solutions. You'll own the development backlog, support change management activity, and ensure functionality aligns with business needs and commercial targets.

The role involves working with the Senior Yield Development Manager to shape the long term roadmap. You'll identify opportunities to improve system performance, streamline processes, and drive automation across pricing operations. As part of a growing team with ambitious plans, you'll play a central role in ensuring our in house yield system evolves to meet customer and business expectations.

Responsibilities

• Lead day to day delivery of the yield system development roadmap with cross-functional collaboration across commercial, trading and technology teams.
• Manage the sprint process: planning, backlog refinement, prioritisation, delivery, and retrospectives.
• Coordinate with business analysts and IT teams to translate complex requirements into effective technical and functional solutions.
• Own and manage the development backlog; support change management; ensure delivered functionality meets business needs and commercial targets.
• Identify opportunities to improve system performance, streamline processes, and drive automation in pricing operations.
• Contribute to shaping the long-term roadmap in partnership with the Senior Yield Development Manager.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in revenue management and understanding of how pricing decisions impact margin and customer experience.
• Strong commercial awareness to evaluate opportunities, challenge assumptions, and make decisions aligned with business goals.
• Proven leadership and ability to motivate a team, with a track record of delivering change initiatives and managing projects end-to-end.
• Experience working with both functional and technical requirements; ability to translate complex needs into clear actions.
• Ability to build relationships across teams and drive progress in a collaborative environment.
• Familiarity with analytics and tracking tools to measure performance and identify areas for improvement; focused on delivery and alignment with business needs.

Location & Working Pattern

The role is full-time and based at our easyJet holidays HQ near Luton Airport. We operate a hybrid working model of 3 days per week in the office.
