Primary Year R Teacher - 3 Days per Week Gosport ASAP Start

Are you a passionate and dedicated Early Years Teacher looking for a part-time role within a supportive and welcoming primary school?We are working with a fantastic primary school in Gosport seeking a Year R Teacher to join their team as soon as possible.

This is a 3-day-per-week position, working as part of a job share, with full teaching responsibility alongside allocated PPA time.

Position Details

• Role: Year R Teacher
• Location: Gosport
• Start Date: ASAP
• Days: 3 days per week
• Responsibilities:
  • Shared class responsibility within a job-share arrangement
  • Planning, teaching and assessing in line with EYFS requirements
  • Delivering engaging, play-based learning
  • Working collaboratively with the current class teacher and EYFS team
  • Ensuring a positive, nurturing and inclusive classroom environment
  • Attending relevant meetings on working days
  • PPA time included

? The Ideal Candidate

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching in Early Years / Year R
• Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A warm, enthusiastic approach to supporting early learners
• Reliable, committed and ready to make a positive impact from day one
