Job Description

RWE Renewables UK Management Ltd. is offering a Year in Industry placement at our London Array Wind Farm, Ramsgate, starting in summer 2026. This is a full-time, fixed-term position for 12 months.

We are one of the largest developers of offshore wind globally, with 10 operational offshore wind farms across the UK and multiple development projects in the pipeline. Join us and gain invaluable insight into this unique and innovative sector.

About the role

You will gain valuable knowledge and experience of the engineering tasks that occur at the Wind Farm, Project Management, and Contractor Management. You will also actively support the team with the completion of engineering projects, problem-solving, and root cause analysis.

Job requirements and experience
  • You are an enrolled student in an Engineering or Marine-based degree course eligible for a year in industry placement.
  • You have very good verbal and written communication skills.
  • You are able to coordinate your own workload and meet tight deadlines.
  • You feel comfortable working in a diverse team environment and dealing with a range of stakeholders.
  • Motivation is crucial, and your cover letter should explain why you are a suitable candidate and how this opportunity aligns with your studies and career plans.
