Year Group Lead

Overview

Teach Now are looking for a Key Stage 2 Year Group Lead and a Year 3 class teacher in primary school based in Waltham Forest, East London. This is a long term role starting from September 2022 until the end of the academic year.

My client is a vibrant, happy and inclusive two form entry school that serves the local community as a beacon of diversity. The school aims to ensure that all pupils have the highest aspirations, reach their full potential and learn all they are to know with a smile on their face. Inclusion is at the heart of the school and they believe that every child has the right to be successful, confident and well prepared for the world.

The chosen candidate must be able to commit completely to the role, as continuity is key.

• Confident in ensuring that all children are working towards their target by following their IEP
• Able to deal with the responsibilities that come with overseeing a year group
• Dedicated, experienced and passionate about children's development
• Open to new ideas
• Creative and dynamic in the approach to teaching and learning whilst using effective behaviour management techniques
• Honest and compassionate
• Happy to complete training to further develop knowledge and understanding in education
• DBS checked or happy to complete one
