Year 6 Teacher

Flourish Education is seeking an experienced Year 6 Teacher for a supportive primary school in Rugby, starting in September for the full academic year. This role is a full-time class teacher position, and responsibilities will include planning, marking, assessments, and attending parents' evenings and CPD sessions.

Key responsibilities

• Take on full Class Teacher responsibilities including planning, delivering and marking lessons in line with the National Curriculum
• Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons across Key Stage 2 (KS2)
• Monitor pupil progress and prepare pupils effectively for end of year assessments
• Work collaboratively with other teaching staff and support staff within the Primary School

Required skills and experience

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience working as a Primary Teacher within a UK Primary School
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum across Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2)
• Experience supporting students through SATS
• Proven ability to plan, deliver and assess engaging lessons
• Excellent behaviour management and classroom management skills
• Previous experience working as a Primary Teacher with full classroom responsibilities

• £168.80 to £232.57 per day, which equates to £32,916 to £45,352 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year, dependent on experience
