Year 6 Teacher

About the Role:

This is a full time teaching position within Year 6, where you will take full responsibility for planning, delivering, and assessing high quality lessons. The successful candidate must have a strong knowledge of KS2 SATs and have recent experience teaching Year 6, with a proven ability to support pupils' progress and prepare them effectively for end of year assessments.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
• Have recent experience teaching in Year 6
• Demonstrate strong understanding of KS2 SATs frameworks and expectations
• Be committed, organised, and confident in raising pupil attainment
• Be able to work collaboratively within a supportive team

Safeguarding & Compliance Requirements:

• A minimum of two references covering the past two years
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for a new DBS through Smile Education
• Right to work checks
• An interview with Smile Education
• You may also be required to meet with the school prior to the January start date
