Part-Time Year 5 Teacher - Central Bristol (BS2)
Working Wednesday afternoon, Thursday, and Friday
Are you an experienced and passionate teacher ready to make a difference in the lives of Year 5 students? Protocol Education are looking for a dedicated Year 5 Teacher to join our team in Central Bristol (BS2) on a part-time basis, working Wednesday afternoon, Thursday, and Friday. This role offers the opportunity to work with enthusiastic learners in a supportive and vibrant school environment.
This role is perfect for someone who has a love for nurturing young minds and creating an engaging learning environment for children in their early years. This school champions each child and strives to create an environment where everybody feels valued and respected. They work closely with parents and the local community to create a safe and nurturing environment for all.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering high-quality teaching to Year 5 students in line with the National Curriculum.
- Planning and assessing engaging lessons that cater to individual needs and promote academic growth (PPA time given).
- Supporting students' social, emotional, and academic development.
- Creating a positive, inclusive, and motivating classroom environment.
- Collaborating with staff and parents to ensure the success and well-being of each student.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Year 5 teacher or in upper Key Stage 2.
- A solid understanding of the National Curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive, creative, and flexible approach to teaching.
- A relevant teaching qualification (QTS).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
