Year 4 Teacher

Are you an enthusiastic and committed Key Stage 2 teacher looking for your next full time opportunity? A welcoming two form entry Primary school in Kidderminster is seeking a confident and experienced Year 4 Class Teacher to join their team from May half term until July on a full time basis.

This Year 4 Teacher role is ideal for an experienced practitioner with a strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and the confidence to lead a class independently. You will take on full class teacher responsibilities, including planning, preparation, marking and assessment, ensuring pupils continue to make strong academic progress throughout the summer term.

Responsibilities

• Planning and delivering engaging and creative lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 national curriculum.
• Marking and assessing pupils' work, providing clear feedback to support progress.
• Tracking and monitoring pupil attainment and adapting teaching to meet individual needs.
• Creating a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Managing behaviour effectively in line with school policies.
• Working collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues, and senior leaders.
• Communicating effectively with parents and carers regarding pupil progress and wellbeing.

Qualifications & Experience

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Proven experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally in lower KS2.
• A strong understanding of the Lower KS2 curriculum and assessment expectations.
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
• A proactive, organised, and professional approach.
• The ability to plan, differentiate, and deliver high quality lessons that engage and challenge all learners.
