Year 2 Class Teacher - Primary School, St Alban's

Start Date: Immediate

A Primary School in St Alban's is seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated and inspiring Year 2 Class Teacher to join our friendly and supportive team with immediate effect.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a welcoming school community at a pivotal stage in pupils' learning. We are looking for a passionate practitioner who is committed to high standards and eager to make a real difference. The role would suit either an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or an experienced teacher with strong knowledge of the Key Stage 1 curriculum who is ready to make an immediate impact.

Key Responsibilities & Qualifications
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or be on track to achieve it
  • Demonstrate secure knowledge of the KS1 curriculum, particularly in Year 2
  • Plan and deliver engaging, creative and inclusive lessons
  • Have high expectations for pupils' achievement, progress and behaviour
  • Be reflective, proactive and committed to continuous improvement
  • Work effectively as part of a collaborative and supportive staff team
