Job Description

Year 2 Teacher - Mainstream Primary School - KT23 Start Date: September 2026 Trial days available. We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 2 Teacher to join our welcoming mainstream primary school. This role offers a supportive and friendly environment, the opportunity to complete trial days before September, and a competitive daily rate/salary based on experience.

Responsibilities
  • Teach a Year 2 class from September
  • Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum
  • Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development
  • Collaborate with colleagues and the wider school community
  • Create a positive and nurturing classroom environment
Qualifications
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 (Year 2 experience desirable)
  • Strong understanding of the National Curriculum
  • Passion for inspiring and supporting young learners
  • Excellent classroom management skills
