Academics are seeking a caring and energetic Year 1 Teacher to join a fantastic partner school in Deal. This role is ideal for a teacher who is passionate about guiding pupils as they transition from EYFS into more structured learning.

What you'll do as a Year 1 Teacher:

Deliver engaging and creative KS1 lessons

Support pupils transitioning from play-based to structured learning

Strengthen skills in phonics, reading, writing, and number work

Build an encouraging and inclusive classroom environment

Work collaboratively with teaching assistants

Maintain strong communication with parents and the school community

What we're looking for in a Year 1 Teacher:

EYTS / QTS / ECTs welcome

Strong understanding of KS1 curriculum

Warm, patient, and proactive teaching style

Strong classroom management skills

Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
