Your Role as Year 1 Teacher

• Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that support the needs of all learners
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
• Implement effective behaviour management strategies
• Work closely with colleagues to plan and deliver a broad, balanced curriculum
• Build strong partnerships with parents and carers to support pupil progress

Year 1 Teacher Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - PGCE or Bachelor of Education
• KS1 teaching experience, ideally in Year 1 (desirable, not essential)
• Strong classroom management and excellent communication skills
• A creative, enthusiastic approach to teaching and learning
• A team player committed to professional growth and collaboration
