Pay: £145 - £232.57 per day
Hours: Monday - Friday Full-time

About the Role

Milk Education is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher to join a supportive primary school in Stockton-on-Tees. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate teacher to deliver engaging lessons, support pupil progress, and contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging and effective Year 1 lessons across all subjects
• Monitor and assess pupil progress and adapt teaching to meet learners' needs
• Support children with SEND and additional learning needs
• Maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment
• Collaborate with colleagues, teaching assistants, and school leaders
• Communicate effectively with parents and carers about pupil progress
• Promote positive behaviour and a love of learning

Key Skills, Qualifications & Experience

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching Key Stage 1
• Strong knowledge of the Year 1 curriculum and assessment
• Ability to differentiate lessons for all abilities, including SEND
• Excellent classroom management skills
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organisational skills
• Passionate about inspiring young learners
