Year 1 Class Teacher (Maternity Cover) - St Thomas' CE Primary School The role

The Governors of St Thomas' CE Primary School wish to appoint a passionate and dedicated class teacher to teach our Year 1 class.

The position is full-time and would involve working 5 days a week. It is a temporary post to cover Maternity Leave, required Monday 8 June 2026.

We are looking for an excellent practitioner who goes above and beyond and is committed to ensuring every child does their very best. This is a very friendly and happy school with a caring Christian ethos in which all members of the school community are highly valued and nurtured as individuals.

There are strong, supportive links between staff, governors, parents and the community. As a member of the Chester Diocesan Academy Trust (CDAT) we work closely with other church schools. The successful candidate must actively support our Christian vision and values.
