Workshop Supervisor North West Trucks Warrington Salary: Dependent on experience View Job & Apply

Monday to Friday, working hours to be between 6.00am to 6.30pm, 2 shift pattern, i.e. 45 hours per week, 30 minutes lunch break (unpaid).

North West Trucks is a well-established commercial vehicle specialist, providing high-quality servicing, maintenance, and repairs to HGVs and commercial vehicles. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experiencedWorkshop Supervisorto lead our busy workshop in Warrington.

As Workshop Supervisor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the workshop, ensuring jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard. You will lead and motivate a team of technicians while maintaining excellent customer service and workshop performance.

Other duties may be required of the post holder in addition to those listed above and below, to ensure that the requirements of the business are met at.

• Supervise and support workshop technicians and apprentices.
• Plan and allocate daily workloads to meet deadlines and customer requirements.
• Ensure all work is carried out in line with DVSA standards and company procedures.
• Maintain high standards of health & safety and housekeeping.
• Liaise with service advisors, parts, and management to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor productivity, quality of work, and technician performance.
• Assist with diagnostics and complex repairs where required.

• Proven experience in an HGV or commercial vehicle workshop environment.
• Previous supervisory or team-leading experience preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge of HGV servicing, maintenance, and diagnostics.
• Good organisational and communication skills.
• A proactive, hands on approach with the ability to lead by example.
• Relevant HGV or mechanical qualifications.
