Workshop Labourer/ Delivery Driver

We are representing a well-established precision engineering business in their search for a Workshop Labourer/ Delivery Driver to work in Bromborough.

• Starting pay £12.71 per hour
• Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday, 8:00am - 4:30pm, Friday, 8:00am - 1:00pm (37 hours per week)
• Duration: Permanent

Job Role

As a Workshop Labourer/ Delivery Driver, you will split your time between supporting the workshop team and carrying out local collections and deliveries. The Workshop Labourer/ Delivery Driver will collect and deliver parts to customer sites and subcontractors, source materials for the workshop, carry out basic van maintenance including tyre pressure checks, oil levels and cleaning, and book goods in and out. Workshop duties include housekeeping, machine cleaning, grounds maintenance, preparing refreshments for engineers and keeping machinery clean and organised to support production.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence
• Good organisational skills
• Physically fit and capable of completing manual handling tasks
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Workshop Labourer/ Delivery Driver or in a similar role
• Experience working within an engineering or manufacturing environment
