Job Title: Works Coordinator

Company: Gabriel Solent Insulation Services

Location: Havant

Salary: Competitive

Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday

About Us

Gabriel Solent Insulation Services is a growing company providing high-quality insulation solutions across the construction industry. We work closely with national and regional housebuilders to deliver jobs on time and to spec. Our office team is friendly and down-to-earth, and we take pride in keeping projects moving without delays.

The Role

We're looking for a Works Coordinator to join our busy office. This is a key role in the construction industry where you'll act as the link between site managers, our installers, and the office team. You'll need to be highly organised, practical, and able to cope with pressure when schedules change or deadlines are tight. No two days are the same, and you'll be right in the middle of the action, making sure the right people are in the right place at the right time.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Taking and logging bookings from site managers on active construction sites
  • Organising installers' diaries and scheduling work to meet build deadlines
  • Confirming job details with sites and keeping records accurate
  • Monitoring the progress of jobs and updating site managers where needed
  • Answering calls and emails from site managers and installers
  • Updating job sheets, spreadsheets, and internal systems
  • Rearranging schedules when jobs overrun or change at short notice
  • Assisting with compliance paperwork and inspection requirements
  • Supporting the operations manager with general admin tasks
  • Ensuring clear communication between the office and site teams at all times

What We're Looking For

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks at once
  • Confident communicator with site managers and installers
  • Good IT skills (spreadsheets, scheduling systems, email)
  • A practical, problem-solving mindset suited to construction environments
  • Previous experience in coordination, admin, or scheduling is useful, ideally within construction, but not essential

What We Offer

  • Casual dress in the office
  • A straightforward, friendly team who work hard and support each other
  • Competitive pay and job security in a growing company
  • The opportunity to build experience and progress in the construction industry

If you're reliable, organised, and want to be part of a team that keeps construction projects on track, we'd like to hear from you.
