Job Description
Ocean Infinity is seeking a Workforce Planner to join our expanding team based in Southampton.This role sits within the Integrated Workforce, Asset and Mobilisation Planning function and is responsible for end to end offshore crewing planning and mobilisation across Service Delivery and Marine operations. The role ensures the effective planning, scheduling and mobilisation of qualified, competent and compliant personnel, delivering the right crew with the right skills to vessels and projects safely, compliantly and on time.The role combines forward-looking crewing demand forecasting , workforce and contractor planning with hands on execution of offshore crew mobilisations. Responsibilities include coordinating travel and logistics, visas, medicals, certification, inductions and onboarding to support offshore, marine and project activities. Acting as a central crewing coordination point, the role interfaces closely with project planning teams, marine operations, vessel and asset management, suppliers and the offshore workforce. It aligns crewing plans with project schedules, vessel readiness and asset availability, enabling efficient, compliant and seamless delivery of offshore operations and commercial projects.- Build project-specific and forward-looking workforce plans (typically 4-12 weeks), aligned to commercial project schedules and fleet plans.- Support continuous improvement of contractor onboarding processes and documentation to align with current operating models and HSEQ requirements.- Manage visas, work permits, immigration requirements, medicals, and mobilisation/onboarding documentation.- Support personnel readiness for mobilisation, ensuring compliance requirements are tracked and surfaced ahead of deployment. Contribute to standardisation of templates, processes, and ways of working across workforce planning and mobilisation. Support adoption and improvement of planning tools and integration with HR and ERP systems. Own, maintain, and continuously improve crew handover processes and checklists to support operational continuity during crew changes. Highly organised with strong attention to detail. Able to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities under pressure. Proactive and able to work using own initiative. Confident dealing with a wide range of people at all levels. Strong administrative and computer skills (Excel, Outlook, crewing systems, databases etc.) Able to work accurately to deadlines. Adaptable to last-minute changes.2-3 years in a crewing or recruitment based role.Previous crewing, logistics, offshore, marine, aviation or personnel coordination experience. Understanding of visa, travel, certification or compliance processes. Experience in a fast-paced operational environment. Knowledge of rota planning / mobilisation scheduling.
