Job Description
SystemsAccountants' Workday Practice is supporting a business in their search for a new Workday Financials Product Owner. This role is responsible for leading the design, standardisation, and optimization of end-to-end finance processes within the Workday Financials ecosystem. This role serves as a strategic partner between Finance, IT, and business units to ensure successful Workday operations and continuous improvement post-implementation.
About the role:
- Own key finance processes within Workday
- Serve as the liaison between Finance, IT, HR, Procurement, and external partners for Workday-related initiatives.
- Act as the Finance SME and process authority during Workday BAU or continuous improvement enhancement projects.
- Identify automation and efficiency opportunities within Workday and adjacent systems.
- Support data governance and chart of accounts standardisation within Workday.
- Define and maintain process documentation, controls, and governance frameworks
About you:
- Strong Finance understanding, ideally a Qualified Accountant
- 5+ years working with Workday. Ideally this would be in a Customer-side role, but candidates with strong experience in a Workday AMS team will also be considered
- Demonstrable experience in managing stakeholders from across divisions (Finance / IT / HR etc)
- You must be able to travel to client site x3 days per week (West London)
