Sanofi is seeking a meticulous and experienced leader for the role of Workday Core MDM Manager. This critical position is responsible for managing all hierarchical structures within Workday, including finance metadata, custom organizations, and talent pools.
The Workday Core MDM Manager will also govern the adoption of position management best practice, including supervisory organization structures, and oversee Workday reorganization activities associated with acquisitions, divestitures, or company restructuring. Expertise in Workday OrgStudio and other relevant tools is essential, along with a Workday HCM Pro certification.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all hierarchical structures within Workday, including finance metadata, custom organizations, and talent pools.

  • Ensure that all hierarchies are accurately maintained and align with Sanofi's organizational requirements.

  • Govern and manage position management processes within Workday, including the supervision of organization structures.

  • Ensure that all position data is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with company policies and standards.

  • Lead and manage Workday reorganization activities associated with acquisitions, divestitures, or company restructuring.

  • Utilize Workday OrgStudio and other relevant tools to ensure smooth and effective transitions during organizational changes.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including HR, Finance, and IT, to ensure that all hierarchical and position management processes align with business needs.

  • Provide guidance and support to stakeholders on Workday data management matters.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to Workday core data management, ensuring that data structures evolve to meet changing business needs.

  • Stay abreast of industry best practices and Workday updates to maintain high standards of data management.

  • Ensure that all hierarchical and position management processes within Workday adhere to compliance requirements and maintain the highest standards of data integrity.

  • Implement and enforce data governance policies to safeguard organizational data.

  • Ensuring compliance with internal control requirements of Globally defined Model, according to People Services Global Core Model

  • Management of Support and Service Requests to ensure the solving is following the SLA's, as well as to identify trends in the requests

  • Proposes and drives implementation and improvements to global master data model

  • Ensures Workday configurations reflect agreed global model, avoids over-customization, and aligns data structures with digital/automation strategy

  • Ensures awareness and change management from global perspective

Experience and skills:
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in data management, HRIS, or related fields, with at least 3 years in a role managing hierarchical data structures and position management within Workday.

  • Strong technical knowledge of Workday, with hands-on experience managing hierarchical structures and position management.

  • Proficiency in Workday OrgStudio and other relevant tools is essential. Workday HCM Pro certification is required.

  • Proven ability to lead data management initiatives and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of data accuracy and integrity.

  • Ability to manage complex data structures and ensure compliance with organizational policies.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

  • Experience in leading change management initiatives related to data management is a plus.

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Management, Information Technology, Human Resources, or a related field.

  • Advanced degree or relevant certifications are preferred.

  • Business level English is required
