Working Hours: 22hours per week, Fixed-term until end of March 2027
Salary: £25,023FTE (Actual Salary £14,878.54 per annum)
Annual Leave: 172 hoursper annum FTE
As our Work Placement Officer,youwill arrange and monitor the progress of full-time students on industry placements. Working in a team, sourcing learners, pre-screening and facilitating pre-interview preparation for all vacancies to ensure a high-quality placement service is provided in order to support learners and businesses for mutual success.

Responsibilities of our Work Placement Officer
- Arrange and monitor extended work placements for full time students
- Manage an agreed caseload of learners with minimum supervision to agreed timescales and standards.
- Responsible for risk assessments and Health and Safety issues that may relate to students within the workplace.
- Support tutors in the visiting schedule for all students.
- Assist in the administration with the recording of work placement activities.
- Promote the College's curriculum programmes to employers and prospective learners.
- Attend internal and external meetings and events and report on learner progress.
- Maintain auditable records and record progress of learners on Pro Monitor
What we're looking for in our Work Placement Officer:
- Practical experience working in industry
- Understanding of T Levels and industry placementsrequirements (e.g., safeguarding, placement hours, employer engagement).
- Experience in liaising with employersand supporting students in finding and completing placements.
