Compensation: £12,000 - £30,000 / year

Description

This role involves coordinating and assessing work placement placements for Level 2, 3, and T Level Early Years Educator programmes across the Childcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organise, assess, and monitor student placements across multiple programmes
  • Identify and develop high-quality placement opportunities
  • Conduct risk assessments and ensure health and safety compliance
  • Engage with students to align placement goals with curriculum outcomes
  • Assess learners in line with awarding body criteria and complete timely documentation
  • Collaborate with curriculum teams and employers to maintain quality standards
Criteria
  • A Level 3 qualification in a relevant vocational area
  • Assessor qualifications (A1/V1) or equivalent
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Experience in assessing competence based training
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Demonstrable experience in assessing childcare qualifications in the workplace
