Wireless Network Engineer - Cisco, CCNP, DC, FortiGate, RF Planning, BGP, IBGP, Troubleshooting, HLD

Our investment banking client is looking for a Wireless Network Engineer to join the team on a 12 month initial contract (long term project, will be extended.)

Key skill sets:

• 5 years or more experience in Cisco Wireless/Switching/Routing & Security (CCNP Enterprise & CCNP Wireless Certified technical design or implementation specialist).
• This experience will be in Design, deployment supporting solutions for large scale data centre & Large Office infrastructure using vendors, technologies including mainly Cisco Wireless, DC (NXOS, IOSXE), FortiGate, Cisco ISE(AAA), Catalyst Centre(SDA).
• Understanding RF planning/deployments.
• Wireless and Wired troubleshooting.
• Organised, details-driven and end user experience mindset.
• Be able to produce high level and low-level design documentation.

Technologies:

• BGP, IBGP, EGBP, SDA, AD, Guest, VXLAN, LISP, DHCP, DNS, SGT, Dot1x, MAB.

Applications:

• HLD, LLD, ServiceNow, Remedy, Visio, Ekahau Pro, SharePoint.

Hybrid working (3 days a week on site) - candidate must be based near Manchester/Liverpool/Stoke/Birmingham
