Store Manager
Position Overview
We are not looking for average. If you don't strive to be the best in what you do, this one isn't for you. We're seeking an experienced, hands-on Store Manager to lead our retail expansion and manage a new location in Amsterdam. You'll be the face of Flâneur in-store, driving sales, curating the customer experience, and building a team that breathes our brand.
Key Responsibilities
Retail Operations
• Manage the daily operations of our flagship store and new shop-in-shop locations.
• Ensure flawless execution across stock, staffing, merchandising, and visual presentation.
• Set high standards for cleanliness, organization, and operational discipline.
Team Leadership
• Recruit, train, and inspire retail staff.
• Lead by example from the sales floor to back-of-house.
• Create a culture of excellence, accountability, and high energy.
Sales & Performance
• Drive retail KPIs including revenue, UPT, and conversion rate.
• Analyze performance data to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement.
• Implement local initiatives to increase footfall and customer engagement.
Customer Experience
• Deliver a premium, high-touch customer experience aligned with Flâneur's identity.
• Cultivate relationships with loyal customers, stylists, and tastemakers.
• Handle feedback, complaints, and special requests with grace and efficiency.
Brand Representation
• Ensure the store experience reflects our creative vision.
• Work closely with HQ on campaign rollouts, product launches, and activations.
• Be an ambassador both in-store and in the city for everything Flâneur represents.
Expansion Support
• Assist in launching new retail formats (shop-in-shops, pop-ups, corners).
• Oversee new location openings, including training and setup.
• Provide feedback to HQ on location-specific needs and opportunities.
Qualifications
• Proven retail leadership experience (fashion/luxury is a big plus).
• Deep understanding of premium customer service and sales strategy.
• Strong organizational and people management skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Affinity with desig.
