Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain Windows Server environments, ensuring optimal performance, stability, and security.
- Manage, configure, and support Microsoft Exchange servers, including maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Oversee and administer Active Directory services, including user, group, Group Policy, and access management.
- Implement and manage system updates, patches, and backup processes to ensure data integrity and system reliability.
- Monitor system performance, proactively identify issues, and act to minimise downtime.
- Collaborate with the IT team to define and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams and end users when required.
- Document system configurations, processes, and technical procedures for knowledge sharing and compliance.
You must have:
- Over 6 years of experience as a Windows Systems Administrator or in a similar role.
- 3 to 4 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Exchange and Active Directory.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server operating systems and related administration tools.
- Experience with virtualisation technologies such as VMware and/or Hyper-V (nice to have).
- Solid PowerShell skills for system administration and automation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
- Clear and effective communication skills, able to interact with both technical and non-technical profiles.
- European Union Citizenship or Portuguese Working Visa / Portuguese Residency
- Availability to go to the office, once or twice per week
