The Windows Engineer internship is an IT and systems-engineering role focused on the infrastructure and automation behind Jane Street's Windows desktop and server estate. The team combines internally developed systems, open-source software, and third-party platforms to support engineering and production technology across the firm.

- Editor and workflow improvements that make coding and deployment across IT faster and more reliable.
Interns are exposed to several languages used by the team: OCaml as Jane Street's primary development language, F# in parts of the Windows stack, and PowerShell for much of the IT automation work. Projects come directly from the team's mission-critical production stack.
