We celebrate wins as a team, big or small, because success is always a shared achievement.We are currently seeking a Wind Tunnel Systems Team Leader to work within our Aerodynamics Technology Development group.The group's remit is research and development of tools for aerodynamic development. In this role you will be an integral part of our multi-disciplinary design team, involved in a variety of innovative and cutting-edge projects primarily for our state-of-the-art wind tunnel model and test facilities.Applicants interested in applying for the above role will be proven leaders with a minimum of 10 years of F1 experience, who are talented, enthusiastic and self-motivated, with a proactive approach and the ability to learn, maintain and develop and lead a team of engineers responsible for new mechanical, electrical, electronic and software systems.Reflecting the multi-disciplinary nature of the role, applications will be welcome from candidates who can demonstrate professional experience across all the following areas: Leadership and development of a team A proven history of project management across a range of complexity and under tight timeframes, and within defined budgets A keen understanding of the prototype to production transition Establishing and maintaining good external relationships, e.g. suppliers, FiA Software development and project management across a range of systems and languages Industrial control system development Understanding of how mechanical and hydraulic systems interact and are controlled Understanding of optical measurement and control systems, e.g. metrology Expert knowledge of data acquisition systemsWhat we can offer you:At Red Bull Technology, we're more than a Formula 1 team-we're a high-performance innovation hub, pushing the limits of what's possible.
