Salary: £31,775 per annum (£16ph)

Hours: Monday-Friday, full-time
Overtime: Paid daily at 1.5x

Are you experienced in diagnosing and repairing white goods or domestic appliances?
Looking to step away from on-the-road callouts and into a stable, workshop-based role?
Syntech Recruitment are working with a specialist engineering company in Alton who are offering a rare opportunity for an experienced white goods engineer to move into a clean, hands-on workshop environment. You'll be working on specialist galley and cabin units used in the aviation industry - full training provided.

Location: 5 minutes off the A31 and easily commutable from Basingstoke, Aldershot, Petersfield and the surrounding areas.

White Goods Engineer Duties:

• Diagnosing faults and repairing small, electromechanical units
• Working from technical drawings, circuit diagrams and manuals
• Dismantling, testing, and rebuilding components using standard hand tools and test equipment
• Following documented procedures and recording all work completed using Microsoft Office and an internal system

White Goods Engineer Profile

• Previous experience repairing white goods or similar electromechanical equipment
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Good with hand tools and workshop-based testing equipment
• Able to read and interpret technical diagrams
• Comfortable using basic computer systems (MS Office, internal systems, etc.)
• Someone who wants to learn, get stuck in, and grow in a team-focused environment
