Welsh Language Education Lead - Immersion & Culture

Monmouthshire County Council is looking for a Welsh Language Education Officer to enhance Welsh culture and education in schools. This role will lead immersion programs and advocate for Welsh medium education, aiming to increase student enrollment in Welsh schools.

The officer will collaborate with local authorities, ensuring schools meet the requirements of the Welsh Language Bill by 2027. Candidates with Welsh language skills are desirable.

The position is located at County Hall, Usk, with flexibility for relocation in the future.
