Leicester City in the Community has a fantastic opportunity for a Wellbeing and Engagement Mentor to join our dynamic team on a fixed term basis.

About The Role

Key duties are to:

  • liaise with key stakeholders including school staff, families, external agencies, and CAMHS.
  • track progress and contribute to monitoring and evaluation processes. This may include collecting qualitative and quantitative data, contributing to case studies, and supporting regular reporting requirements.
  • build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • maintain a calm and supportive approach, and a passion for working with vulnerable young people.
Who We're Looking For
  • Level 2 youth work/mentoring
  • Safeguarding certificate
  • First Aid certificate
  • Mental Health First Aid

Contract Type: Fixed-Term
Hours Per Week: 37.5 hours

You may be required to work outside of normal office hours, at evenings and weekends.

Location: LCitC is based at King Power Stadium, Leicester. The delivery of sessions will take place at partner schools / local community centres, and some aspects of the role will require homeworking. Therefore you will need the ability to travel across multiple sites across Leicester and Charnwood.
