Hours Job Description

Wonderful returning family in Notting Hill is looking for a new nanny to start with them August 2026 and stay with them for at least a year. Their current nanny (placed through Kinder Nannies) has been with them for 3 years and is only leaving due to a change in her own circumstances.

Hours:

• - holiday time 8am to 7pm
• - term time most days only 5pm to 7.30pm, sometimes an earlier pick up at school but pretty much 2 hours only on most days

Term time

• - support with homework and ensure they stay on top of to do lists, prepare school bag for next day
• - prepare dinner (usually pre-cooked and just needs some prep)
• - take them outside to play and get fresh air
• - monitor and manage screen time (firm when we need to get them away from the TV or iPad)
• - Develop a plan for activities that involve outdoors/ sports/ some cultural learning and fun activities
• - prepare food, help keep their rooms tidy
• - some light school work (maybe)

Generally someone reliable, calm but happy to get up and go out. Firm but fair. Fun. Someone who is good at Arts and Crafts and also likes outdoor sports and will take the boys to kick a ball around in the garden or park.

Both boys attend the German school in Richmond and generally get the bus there and back.

Both parents work full time.

Requirements

Up to date Enhanced DBS

Right to work in UK

Recent Paediatric First Aid certificate

Good references for recent and relevant nanny work

Good English or German

Please note this is a strictly Non smoking position.

Ideal Candidate

Active, engaging nanny who is good at arts and crafts as well as outdoor activities. A reliable, punctual nanny who is kind, firm but fair.
