Summary

The Loyne Specialist School is an incredibly successful special school rated by Ofsted as Outstanding for five consecutive inspections. All of our young people have special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). We also have an onsite independent Post 19-25 provision, 'Grizedale Centre' that offers adult placements to some leavers from the Loyne School.

Role overview

The role involves feeding, supervision at lunch time (including play supervision), toileting and attending to personal care and hygiene needs. In addition, other duties that are commensurate to the grade of the role to support pupils and the class team will be directed by the teacher. The hours of work are Monday to Friday during term time from 10.00 a.m. - 2.00 p.m. This position is part time, term time only, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful, the salary received will be paid on a pro -rata basis.

• Experience of working with or caring for children or young people.

• Supporting and caring for children/adults with SEND
