Interaction Recruitment, on behalf of their client, are currently recruiting for an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join a busy engineering workshop in Nelson.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hard-working, reliable and skilled Welder/Fabricator looking for long-term, permanent employment with a growing and established manufacturing business.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for MIG welding and fabricating a range of components and assemblies, working to high standards and in accordance with engineering drawings.

Key Responsibilities

• MIG welding mildsteel from2mm to 10mm
• Fabrication of frameworksand sub-assembliesto a highstandard
• Reading and workingconfidentlyfrom engineering drawings
• General engineering workshopduties
• Producing accurate, high-quality work
• Working efficientlyas part ofa busy workshopteam
• Maintaining high standardsof health, safetyand housekeeping

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience asaWelder/Fabricator
• Strong MIG weldingexperience
• Experience welding mildsteel between2mm and 10mm
• Previous engineering workshopexperience
• Ability to readand interpret engineeringdrawings
• Excellent attention todetail
• Highstandard of workmanship
• Reliable, hardworking anddependable
• Ability to workindependently and aspartof ateam
• Ideallybased in oraroundRochdale

Working Hours & Benefits

• Monday to Thursday: 8:00am - 5:00pm
• Friday: 8:00am- 2:45pm
• 38 hours perweek
• £13.00-£16.00 perhour
• 28 days paidholiday, including BankHolidays
• Full-time, permanentposition following as satisfactory probationaryperiod
