Welder / Fabricator

We are looking for an experienced Welder / Fabricators to join a well know and respected engineering company based in Weymouth.As a Welder / Fabricator you will work on high-quality engineering projects, this role will mainly be based onsite with some project work, this role is based in Weymouth.Key Responsibilities of Welder / FabricatorTo Carry out MIG and MMA welding on aluminium and steel components to a high standardInspect and assess completed welds to ensure quality, durability, and compliance with specificationsSupport the safe and efficient delivery of work in both workshop and site-based environmentsActively mentor junior welders and fabricators by offering hands-on guidance, and correcting techniques.Adapt to a variety of marine engineering tasks in line with changing project requirementsSkills, Qualifications & Experience of Welder / FabricatorTime-served Welder/Fabricator with proven experience working with steel and aluminiumCompetent in MIG and MMA welding processesStrong understanding of health & safety practices and quality standardsComfortable working outdoors and in variable site conditionsA collaborative team player with the ability to support and guide less experienced colleaguesHold the full rights to work in the UK Able to travel to Weymouth daily for work
