Weighbridge Operator - Sutton Courtenay - Immediate start- £14.00 per hour

We are actively looking for a Weighbridge operator in Sutton Courtenay to work for our client on an ongoing basis at £14.00 per hour. As a Weighbridge Operative you will play a key role in supporting the safe and efficient operation of the site. You'll be responsible for operating the weighbridge, managing waste documentation, and providing a professional and helpful service to customers and drivers, while ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental requirements.

• Operating the weighbridge system, booking vehicles in and out of site
• Maintaining accurate records in line with Duty of Care and waste management requirements
• Ensuring waste transfer notes remain in date and are correctly archived
• Inducting visiting drivers and keeping appropriate records
• Providing a courteous, helpful and efficient service to customers, drivers and subcontractors
• Keeping the weighbridge office and surrounding area clean and tidy
• Logging and managing soil samples where required
• Working safely at all times and reporting accidents, near misses or unsafe conditions
• Supporting the Site Supervisor and wider site team with day-to-day operations
• Carrying out any other reasonable duties as required, including supporting other sites if needed

• Thursday-Friday. (Mon-Fri during training) Possibility for Saturday 0645 -1300.
• Start time/finish time 0645 - 1630
• Start date Looking to start as soon as possible.
