Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and customer-focused Weekend Tour Guides to lead historical and cultural heritage tours for domestic and international visitors. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about history, culture, storytelling, and tourism, and who enjoy engaging with diverse audiences. As a Weekend Tour Guide, you will be responsible for delivering informative, entertaining, and memorable experiences while representing the brand values and service excellence of Global MNC Tech.

The role is part-time and primarily scheduled on weekends, making it a perfect opportunity for students, freelancers, travel enthusiasts, or professionals seeking flexible work with meaningful interaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct guided tours at historical, cultural, and heritage sites as per assigned schedules.
  • Deliver accurate, engaging, and well-researched commentary about landmarks, monuments, traditions, and local culture.
  • Ensure guests safety, comfort, and satisfaction throughout the tour.
  • Manage group dynamics, maintain punctuality, and adhere to planned itineraries.
  • Answer visitors questions and provide recommendations on local attractions, food, and activities.
  • Coordinate with operations teams for logistics, ticketing, and scheduling.
  • Handle feedback, resolve minor issues, and elevate concerns when required.
  • Maintain professional conduct and represent the organization positively at all times.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service orientation.
  • Passion for history, culture, tourism, and storytelling.
  • Ability to engage diverse audiences with confidence and enthusiasm.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
  • Basic knowledge of tourism operations and hospitality standards.

Experience
  • 0-2 years of experience in tourism, hospitality, customer service, teaching, or public speaking preferred.
  • Freshers with strong communication skills and cultural knowledge are encouraged to apply.
  • Prior experience as a tour guide, travel coordinator, museum guide, or heritage interpreter is an advantage.
Working Hours
  • Part-time role.
  • Primarily weekends (Saturday & Sunday).
  • Typical shift duration: 4-8 hours per day, depending on tour schedules.
  • Occasional availability on public holidays and special events may be required.
