Weekend Despatch Clerk - Basingstoke

We are looking for a Casual Zero-Hours Weekend Despatch Clerk to join us in our mission of delivering quality outdoor products such as log cabins, garden offices, sheds and gazebos designed with care, built to last, and made to make our customers smile!

The Role:

This job is based out of our Basingstoke Branch - RG24 8WH and the ideal candidate may be offered shifts coordinating and processing customer orders, preparing goods for despatch, and ensuring accurate and timely shipment of products.

Role Overview:

• Communicating with customers regarding deliveries
• Liaising with other branches regarding stock and deliveries
• Liaising with different departments across the company
• Processing balance payments
• Utilising company systems to monitor stock and plan efficient delivery routes

Requirements:

• Right to work in the UK
• Good geographical knowledge
• Maths and English GCSE or equivalent C or above
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Able to work as part of a nationwide team
• Computer literate

What We Offer:

• Shifts are offered on an ad-hoc basis, primarily at weekends
• For flexibility, there may be an option for some shifts to cover weekday working as required by the business
• 07.30 start time, with varied finish times based on business need
• £12.71 - £13.00 per hour for hours worked
• There may be opportunities to apply for fixed-term or permanent employed roles in the future, subject to business needs
