Job Description

An opportunity to support the Andover Parent Forum (AOPF) by managing and maintaining their website. This role helps ensure parents and carers can easily access up to date information, relevant support organisations, and upcoming events. The Website Manager helps keep the site professional, consistent and user friendly, contributing to AOPF's mission of supporting families in the community.

About the Role

As a Website Manager, you will be responsible for updating website content in line with AOPF's current work, activities and priorities. You will ensure information is accurate, accessible and engaging, and signpost users to the right support organisations and events agreed with the Committee. You'll also play a role in maintaining a clear, consistent look and feel across the site.

Support will be available from the previous administrator to help with handover and ongoing queries.

Skills & Experience Needed
  • Website management and design
  • Knowledge of Wix and Mailchimp (helpful but not essential)
  • General IT and digital skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively with Committee members

Activities

Volunteers may take part in:

  • Updating and managing website content
  • Keeping information relevant and accurate
  • General IT support for the Committee
  • Creating the layout for newsletters and sending mail-outs via Mailchimp
  • Attending 4-8 Committee meetings per year
