Web Applications Developer PHP (Senior)

Location: Offsite, (Must be within the Island of Ireland or an EU Country)

• Start Date: 1st July 2026
• Engagement Type: initial 12 months Full-Time, with possibility of further extension

Mandatory Requirements (Pass/Fail)

• Experience Level Required: Equivalent of senior level (7+ years) experience
• Availability on Commencement Date: Must be available from 1st July 2026
• CEFR C2 Proficiency/Mastery (or equivalent). If no certificate, fluency will be assessed at presentation stage

The following, non-exhaustive list of Key Deliverables, are applicable to this Role.

• Contributes to the development of software and/or web and/or multi-media applications that facilitate the achievement of business outcomes and improve business efficiencies and processes through leveraging technology.
• Develops prototypes of proposed applications for approval by the customer and subsequent execution.
• Is involved in several aspects of the software lifecycle including design, development and deployment.
• Works closely with customers/analysts/other ICT resources as required.
• Uses appropriate languages to develop the necessary specifications for software.
• Develops/tests/debugs software applications for clients.
• Recommends/designs structures and tools for systems which meet business needs.
• Operates in a highly pressurised development environment facilitating the integration of data from various sources.

The following Experience/Competencies/Skillsets are applicable to this Role. The CV for the proposed Resource as set out in the Response Document must clearly and comprehensively demonstrate the Resource's proven experience with the following technologies, or equivalent:

• Silverstripe 5 / 6 and experience creating your own Silverstripe modules and backend Silverstripe development.
• MySQL 8 and Postgres databases.
• Console / task based scripting.
• AWS and Bitbucket pipelines.
