Job Description

UK Athletics WCP Throws Lead Olympic and Paralympic

Full-time

Hybrid with regular requirement to work in Loughborough

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and delivery of UK Athletics' WCP throws plan across both Olympic and Paralympic programmes
  • Align WCP throws activity with the wider performance pathway, including UKA Futures
  • Act as the main point of contact for WCP throws athletes and their coaches
  • Ensure WCP support is aligned to individual athlete plans
  • Provide on-the-ground support at training camps and major championships

Required Experience:

  • Experience working with Olympic and Paralympic throwers
  • Involvement in major championship teams (e.g. Olympic or Paralympic Games)
  • Experience supporting athletes in World Class Programmes and working within an NGB
