Water Treatment Service Chemist - Bolton

An opportunity has arisen within a well-established water treatment company in the Bolton area. This varied role will involve industrial water treatment and water compliance duties. Applications from Bury, Rochdale, Stockport, Stretford and surrounding areas will be considered.

• Experience of working in a service chemist role, undertaking the analysis of system boilers, closed systems and cooling tower water.
• Hands on experience delivering water hygiene duties in accordance with ACOP L8.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Good working knowledge of the water treatment/hygiene industry.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office package.

• Chemical analysis on cooling towers, steam boilers and closed heated and chilled systems.
• Maintenance of domestic and industrial water systems.
• Routine monitoring tasks at various properties as per client requirements.
• Providing the full range of service chemist duties on an array of systems across a variety of sectors.
• Updating of site log books.
• Maintain a professional working relationship with new and existing clients.
