Water Treatment Pre-commissioning Engineer - Warrington

Due to the acquisition of new contracts, our client, a well established water treatment/hygiene company, now has a vacancy for an experienced and competent Water Treatment Pre commissioning Engineer based in or around the Warringrton area. The successful candidate will have previous experience working within a pre commissioning role and be confident in carrying out the flushing of water systems to BSRIA guidelines. Consideration will be given to applications from Warrington, Chester, Crewe, Liverpool and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & experience

• Extensive experience in carrying out Pre Commissioning work within the water treatment industry.
• Hands on experience flushing water systems to BSRIA guidelines.
• Strong chemical and water treatment background.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office package.

Role

• Carrying out pre commissioning cleaning on the systems according to BSRIA standards.
• Balance flushing of heated / chilled systems.
• Flushing, sampling and dosing of closed systems.
• Water / legionella sampling.
• Dosing - CHW and LTHW systems and washing systems.
• Chemical and tank cleans.
• Chlorination and disinfection works in accordance with ACOP L8 guidelines.
• Schematic drawings and producing accurate reports.
