Profile

Our client delivers specialist Water Treatment services to Commercial, Industrial, and Domestic sites. They are now seeking a conscientious and self motivated Water Treatment Operations Manager to oversee services across the North of England. The successful candidate will be overseeing and managing the development of both engineers and company operational processes. Candidates must have a strong background working within the Water Treatment industry and experience ensuring all work is running in line with agreed time frames and to industry guidelines.

Northallerton, Thirsk, York, Malton, Selby, Harrogate, Wetherby, Middlesborough, Redcar, Hartlepool, Guisborough, Durham, Sunderland, Consett, Newcastle upon Tyne, South Shields, Whitley Bay and areas with good access to North Yorkshire / North East.

Experience & Qualifications

• Experience working within the Water Treatment industry and strong knowledge of chemical and technical processes is beneficial to the role.
• Strong knowledge of relevant Health and Safety / ACoP L8 guidelines.
• Strong leadership and managerial skills.
• Proven track record of excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage workloads.
• Ability to communicate efficiently.

The Role

• Carry out day to day planning and managing of the company's Water Treatment / Water Hygiene work schedules, ensuring that work is completed within the agreed timeframe.
• Act as the point of call for any queries clients may have regarding the project.
• Maintain the company's quality management systems to meet current ISO standards.
• Ensure all work being carried out is in line with relevant Health and Safety / ACoP L8 guidelines.
• Work in conjunction with Sales / Account managers to prepare quotations and tenders for clients.
• Carry out annual appraisals and review training for engineers.
• Lease with clients to maintain excellent rapport and deal with all issues effectively.
• Review operations systems, ensuring that all processes run efficiently.
• Carry out reviews of all operational invoices prior to submitting for payment.
